TerraGIS Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-04-17

Applies to: TerraGIS Microsoft Store releases and private beta builds

Who We Are

TerraGIS is developed and published by Dupahar. This policy explains how TerraGIS handles personal information when you use the application.

Personal Information We Process

TerraGIS can process data on your device that you choose to open, such as GIS documents, files, and folders. TerraGIS may also process diagnostic information when you choose to send diagnostics.

Diagnostic information may include:

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

How We Use Information

Legal Basis and Choice

Diagnostics upload is opt-in. You can choose not to send diagnostic bundles. Processing required for core product functionality is based on providing the service you request when using TerraGIS.

Data Minimization and Retention

We aim to collect only the minimum information needed for support and reliability purposes. Diagnostic reports are retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is required to investigate a security issue, legal obligation, or unresolved support incident.

Data Sharing

Diagnostic information is used by TerraGIS maintainers and service providers solely for support, reliability, and security improvements. We do not sell personal information.

International Processing

Support and engineering operations may involve processing data in multiple regions. We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data.

Your Rights and Requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of diagnostic data associated with your support interaction by contacting us at the email below. If you submitted a diagnostic bundle, include available identifiers (for example date, version, and support ticket reference) to help locate records.

Beta Access and Licensing

Beta access may be time-limited and can be revoked after beta closure. Revocation affects product access but does not retroactively change already submitted diagnostic records.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect diagnostic and support information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Children

TerraGIS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
